The Indiana Equine Foundation, in honor of Wes Morelock, is dedicating our Western show to his memory. Additionally, IEF has created special High Point Awards in his name for his favorite discipline.
Overall points will be tabulated for both IEF Western Shows and the
Wes Morelock Memorial High Point award will be given after the September show.
Separate Champion and Reserve Champion awards for Youth and Adult exhibitors
Champion - $100, Champion Ribbon, plus awards (subject to change)
Reserve Champion - $50, Reserve Champion Ribbon, plus awards (subject to change)
In order to qualify for the Wes Morelock Memorial High Point award, exhibitors must compete in both the May and September Foundation Charity Wes Morelock Memorial Open Western Shows.

Anyone showing in ANY Canter Classes are not eligible for Walk/Trot award
In order to qualify for the High Point award, the horse and rider combinations must compete in both the May and September horse shows in 3 separate disciplines, not including the Fun Show. Points will not transfer to another horse or another rider.
Supreme High Point - All classes count towards points from all showbills (except the Fun Show)
Supreme Walk/Trot - All halter, in-hand and Walk/Trot etc. classes (any class not requiring the lope/canter) count towards points from all showbills (except the Fun Show)
*Note: Currently the Speed Show does not offer Walk/Trot Classes - HOWEVER -if we get enough interest we WILL be happy to add W/T Barrels/Poles/Flags for 2025 - we just need feedback from our exhibitors!
Dressage Riders don't dismay - individual Test Scores will be tabulated into your final points.
